Why is it that rug manufacturers - Matchmakers (who make Masta rugs are the worst) who can sell you rugs that do not fit, rub manes, slip round and so on but will not replace them or refund despite the fact that these rugs are surely @not fit for the purpose that they are intended' as detailed in The Sale of Goods Act.

RUGS ARE A NIGHTMARE AT THE MOMENT UNLESS YOU SPEND NEARLLY 200 QUID ON THEM. I HAVE PONIES AND ALL RUGS RUB THE MANES OF MY PONIES AND HOW CAN MINITURE HORSE RUGS COST MORE THAN A 6 FOOT RUG THEY ARE HALF THE SIZE LESS MATERIAL AND LESS TIME TO STITCH BUT MORE EXPENSIVE I CANT QUITE UNDERSTAND WHY.

I always used masta outdoor rugs on my d's until they changed to the 'checktech' material then they changed shape completely! This year and last i have used 'weatherbeeter landa' rugs with seperate neck covers (seperate ones don't rub like combi/highneck rugs) and they have fit all my c's and d's brilliantly. They are also fully lined all round the shoulder and are reasonably priced. For miniatures (we have mini shetlands) we use masta foal rugs indoor and out (if they're checktech get 1 size bigger than normal), they're much cheaper than buying proper mini rugs.

I always use the mastas but with the seperate neck cover, or Horseguards made to measure and don't normally have a problem. I've also used wetherbeeta orican with integral neck and found that good also (all on m&ms)
