Dear dun4u if you really want to get your own back on him wait for him to go on holiday for a week damp his front room carpet libraley sprinkle water and cress seads over said carpet turn central heating up and leave, he will come back to a loverly water cress lawned carpet. It realy would p*** him off, this method has been tried and tested.

I don't think it is really fair to comment on peoples spelling, my cousin is badly dyslexic and because of people commenting on her spelling on forums she has used she refuses to use any sort of forum now, she is a clever girl, gives great advise but years of people looking down on her and making nasty comments because she is unable to spell has left her confidence in bits.
If this was an english teaching forum then fine but people don't come on here to be taught spelling and grammer, everyone should be able to post without having to worry about being pulled up on their spelling.

Couldn't she just say "I'm dyslexic so I can't spell" or have a name that makes light of it such as 'Can't spell, won't spell' or whatever? As most people can't spell very well and their grammar is poor, I think they have a cheek to say anything to someone who is obviously dyslexic. Occasionally it does really matter how you spell or use grammar because what you say could mean something else. Apart from that, it is a matter of personal choice. If I can't spell something I usually look it up on a dictionary webby. People have different priorities, don't they? My Mum taught me more about spelling and grammar than I learnt at school and I do pride myself in knowing the difference between its and it's and things like that.

I'd like to add that my hubby is the worlds worst at spelling, spells everything exactly how it sounds. It amuses me no end, as you always know what he means, but some of his spellings are decidedly original. But it's one of the things I love about him!! He knows it makes me smile, but he takes it on the chin, because theres lots of things I get wrong that make him chuckle!!
I think you have to accept people for what they are, warts and all, we're all good at something.
