Well, hello everyone, Happy New Year and all the best for a happy showing season (note I didnt say successful....just happy as it seems to be more elusive!)

I've been a poorly bunny with everything BUT flu, even now still coughing away as if I'm on 50 a day. Ponies look like hell, ponies wardrobes look worse and I have just had a chat to tbe Bank Manager (its my first day back as well!!)

Elderly WHP still with us, now 28 bless her, old dressage pony looks like something out of a flea market (emphasis on flea) and new pony who doesnt belong to us but we are using has a lot to do before her first show in February...and we still havent even had one offer on house!

Now have to try and find a job to pay for overdraft and ponies as husband has taken a more fun job with a lot less money!

trying to find enough spare cash to send off memberships, total so far about £160 and that's without even thinking of PUK...

Have now taken to feeding less expensive mix and a lot more sugar beet and barley..hope child can stay on.

Kindest regards to you all, let's hope this year is a good one...our first show is Hartpury in February, otherwise its dressage.....

Hi Julie happy new year to you, hope you are soon feeling better. We are in the same boat, our house is up for sale, loads off numpties have been and viewed it but still no offers from people who have actually sold theirs so I can sympathise, thought you had sold it from a previous thread....

Friends who own elderly dressage pony we now loan (free) have bought mugga house a la Beckhams but with taste and we have had no offers at all......plus went to shindig with old friends who moved to Oz at local pub, they were back for christening which I am Godmother5 but couldnt afford to go to do which made it all worse) and now I am not drunk enough if you know what I mean and feel just b.....awfull.....time to take happy pills....

Plus I now have to find a job and have no skills, am fat 48 yr old in the menopause....ooooooerrrrrrrrgghhhhh!!
