Remedial Farrier in Yorkshire

I am desperately searching for a good remedial/corrective farrier in or around Yorkshire. Has anyone got any suggestions??

I have heard there is an excellent man near Scotch Corner but can't seem to find any names or contact details on the world wide web.

Any help, suggestions or recommendations much appreciated!!

Just names is fine - I don't need personal details, inside leg measurements or phone numbers! I can get their phone number from numerous internet based sources, but am interested in knowing who is a remedial specialist and who comes recommended!

You can search on the Farriers Registration Council website . If you search under NE25 there's only one listed and who I can recommend. Not sure if he'd come down to Scotch Corner though but he is a good remedial farrier.

I think it may be Hugh Dyer you are talking about - He is at Leeming just above Northallerton and yes he is very good. (they do the remedial shoeing for Minster vets)
Also, South from there is Martin Hey who was doing the remedial shoeing for Phil Dixon. Martin is fab, we used him for many years but sadly moved out of his area.
There is Gary Harland who does North Yorks area too.

Hi yesd I know about a remdial farrier. He is based at Minster vets at York but also visits yards etc aswel. A lady on our yard has him for her horse, he is very good around the horses aswel as his farriery.

If you contact minster vets at york they will give you his contact details.
