You are quite fortunate if you can take enough time off work to consider doing one show during a holiday period....let alone 3!!! What do you lot do for a living!!!!! LOL!

I really want to do the West Mids show & BSPS Champs - I am going to have to check the schedules!

We would have done the West mids and BSPS winter champs if it had been at Solihull, we aren't going to bother with PUK this year anyway. Our final decision is to go to West mids as the judges are excellent for us.

On the theme of the stallion show - I was looking at the schedule the other day and PUK and well and truly ripping the members off I think the entries for members are £12 or £15 but looking at the Hoys qual the entry fee is £30 including the hoys levy, I always thought that the Hoys levy was about £8 so yet again we are being ripped off. We havent renewed are membership yet and its looking more and more as though we wont do it as there are no real incentives to do so. What does everyone else think.

Iam doing West Mids becasue I think BSPS 'did the dirty on us by changing the venue after we qualified. I would not have joined/registered etc for 2006 if I had known what was going to happen. I think bsps will lost entries because people could easily travel between Solihull and Malvern. PUK has alwasy ripped members off to a certain extent - maybe it will be better now. When I has the temerity to suggest in a letter to H and H that entries fees might be refunded if a vets cert was produced at least up to six weeks before the show (with entries closing months before) Davina Whiteman banned me from membership! Maybe I'll be allowe dbakc now - but would I want to?!!

Quite simply work lurker i work in a job with flexi time so i only really need 2 days off ! Could of travelled to puk after work friday (start at 7am and finish at 1 pm ) and comeback monday (day 1) and then took thursday off (day 2) to go to the west midlands and then on to bsps because correct me if i am wrong but thats easter weekend isnt it ?
Anyway thats all hyperthetical because i have no intention of asking my ponies or myself to travel that many miles in so little days. So i dont think i will bother with any of them ! There you go i have spit my dummy and well and truly kicked it across the floor !!!!!!!

Well done, cheeky. Lets all get together and tell these societies to consider us exhibitors before they make plans. The BSPS has still not officially told its members - especially those who have qualified, that the venue is changed.

BSPS have put in the News review this month that the venue has changed. If it was still at Solihull then the numbers would probably be up at both shows. why don't the societies try and work together??

Oh, Julie, you are getting fed up. Its too cold to go swimming and as a producer and maker of sheepskin numnahs, then I would get a double dunking in the sea. I am sure you didn't really mena it. Think about those days when you get the chairs out of the lorry, gather your friends round, everyone has done well and you break out the chilled wine and relax! Okay it doesn't always go like that but....,.oaky have another gin!
