This weekend we presented two of the foals and our yearling colt to the ZfDp German Inspectors.

This was open to all horses and ponies to be inspected and graded into the ZfDp stud book in Germany. We also had our foals branded however that was personal choice and not essential!!!!!
It involved presenting the mares and foals in front of the inspector who assessed the mare and foal, they are stood up then the foals are loosed and the mares ran in hand. The inspector assesses the movement and the conformation and will award a place in the various stud books for the mare and we were very fortunate to receive a Premium for both of our foals.
There was also a Youngtock class of which we presented our yearling colt in the same manner, stood up, walked then loose. We were thrilled when the inspector although said he didnt like to look at yearlings, said he would like to see him back for the stallion inspection next year!!!!!
Next year they will hold a full stallion inpsection which I cant really comment on at present as I need to look into it a little more however more details can be found on the link above!!!!!!
Here are some photos of the children!!!!!!!!
Colin (Bathleyhills Swift Decision) who is out of our home bred mare Bathleyhills Sea Swift and by Casino Royale K who is german pony who has been very successful and won at the Bundesmanche in germany both as a 3 and 4 year old, we didnt get chance to take any photos there so here are some back at home that night!!!!!
Arthur (Bathleyhills Mondial) who is our orphan foal of which they gave us great praise on how he looked, he is out of Mona and by FS Dont Worry who is a great pony producer in Germany and also works to the highest level dressage, we didnt get any of him moving as his legs all blurred into one due to the light
Finally we presented John (Bathleyhills Monet) who is our yearling colt also out of Mona (Arthurs mum) and by Casino Royale K, we are totally thrilled with him and he will stand as a stallion with us and be produced for dressage.
I hope everyone loves them as much as we do !!!!!!!!!!
