Patey used to offer a hat re-covering service and use the best velvet but it won't be cheap as it needs to be fitted to the skull cap, lining and around staps. It's a skilled craft

We desperately need a hat colour changed from blue to brown. Charles Owen are the only Co. that make the brown with a flesh harness but the H2000 hat is too bulky for my daughter's head and we need the brown to go with her jacket. I know other Co.s make smaller fitting hats but only in blue.
How much does re-covering cost or has anyone got any other ideas?

Hi there a lady called Margret Ogden in Lancashire does ours,she is great and does not rip you off! I do not have her phone no at the moment my daughter has it ,let me know if you already got it done or not and I will get you the phone no.
