Sadly we lost our beautiful Tom to colic despite emergency surgery.
Tom was a prolific winner under saddle and a real character. He was enjoying a very relaxed, laid back and loving retirement with us. He was a true gentleman and is missed by all of our family.
Tom was owned by the Findlow family but was on life loan to us.
Thank you Jane, Katie and Becky for letting us have him for the past 3 years.
We miss you Tom RIP all our love, Mitten Family xxx

Oh how sad. . I had only mentioned this lovly boy the other day as i bought a broodmare off May at Fieldings. . Whom bred him. . Beautiful boy. . Condolences to all connections. X x x x x

Sad to hear about Thomas, he was a lovely lad, but its nice to hear how nice his life has been since he left us. We still have his Mum here, Whalton Sundown (Sunny), who is going strong at 29 years old. We still breed each year and have foals in the field now, that are Sunny's grandchildren; They are beautiful and all related to Thomas. www.fieldsfarm.co.uk May |

Hi I am may chat fields eldest daughter. I am saddened to hear that Tom has passed away. I had the most fun with him in hand, we cleared the board and always came away with the ribbons. I will always hold dear fond memories of my time with him. If only he had grown a little more he would have had a home with me always. His mum sunny a whalton mare is still with us and she has granddaughters still here with us. Sending my regards to the family that took are off him in retirement. Best wishes to you all x
