for puk champs this year i a took a sec a for just in hand classes, i needed a few plaited halters as they get dirty so easily one wouldnt last the week, i looked them up and a full plaited halter would of set me back £42 + p&p. I decided to try and make my own so i sourced a 16 strand plaited rope and made my own, quite a few people came up to me asking where i got my halter from (inc peter wilkie who said they were really nice and i should make them to sell) which got me thinking. if you look closely at them you can tell they are home made, say if you look on the inside you can see the stiching but from the outside and from a judges perspectivei think they look the business! so what do people think? should i make made tro measure halters to order? i was thinking £20 +p&p for a standard smaller Sec a halter and a little more if people want it for sec d or a longer lead e.t.c i would be able to get different thickness's but i would have to buy in bulk so dont want to buy a load and not be able to sell them! good and bad opinions are welcome!

I would prefer them to lay 'flat' and not so bulky I realise you say different sizes but I still think they look to 'bulky' especially on a small head
