I still can't believe that Sue is no longer with us. I only got to know her this year when I joined the NPS Area 17 committee and at first didn't know how to take her. However it didn't take me long to see what a lovely lady Sue was.
I will miss her greatly as will everyone who knew her.

I was so sad when I heard the news from Mary, I also didn't know Sue long but the time I knew her she always made me laugh. She was such a lovely lady and we shall all miss you.My thoughts are with the family especially Alice, she was very proud of you and Gwen you both made her very happy.
RIP

I am going to ask the mods to lock the thread, but I will post again when the funeral has been arranged.
Here is a poem which I know Sue would agree with, so thank you all for your lovely messages, I can see her smiling now.
Mary
Don’t grieve for me, for now I’m free I’m following the path God has laid you see. I took His hand when I heard him call I turned my back and left it all.
I could not stay another day To laugh, to love, to work, to play. Tasks left undone must stay that way I found that peace at the close of day.
If my parting has left a void Then fill it with remembered joy. A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss Oh yes, these things I too will miss.
Be not burdened with times of sorrow I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow. My life’s been full, I savored much Good friends, good times, a loved one’s touch.
Perhaps my time seemed all too brief Don’t lengthen it now with undue grief. Lift up your hearts and peace to thee God wanted me now; He set me free.
