Rosmarche. Considering Helen Myers stud is very small, she has produced some beautiful ponies.

Out of them only Bengad - Going for years and Bengad Dogberry is just simply stunning. I real Mountain pony. Have to say - Glenwood , Dyfed - you only have to look at the ponies that they have bred over the years to see that they are famously reknown for breeding Top Class quailty mountain ponies. It also depends on if you do ridden or inhand - They shouldnt be different but they are I am inhand person so perfer the more traditrional Sec A Lines and looks. Just personall Preference.

l agree with Minnie Mouse - l admire breeders who consistantly breed true to type ponies that have correct conformation, movement & temprement to do a job sucessfully. Bengad is just one example but there are plenty of others who breed lovely ponies.

Think thats quite a limited poll! I would have voted Randan - as we have the most amazing Randan pony. If ever there was a perfect pony she is it

Agree with you Mini mouse... We have a pony by Bengad Dogberry and his temprament is second to none. Really old fashioned type with plenty of bone. Also have an Amilas pony (home of Sunwillow Jubilee) and he is a fantastic pony and moves beautifully.

I prefer cosford stud and Lambury stud for Sec A's, both based in suffolk. I would look no further for a childs pony as these too studs do breed good natured ponies.
