I had one when I had my trailer and hated it, they are really heavy and awkward to move around, you cant unload your horse from the front ramp without moving it off of the trailer first, they are very bulky and take up a lot of space at the front of the trailer

I personally love mine. Yes I agree, they are bulky and a bit on the heavy side when loaded, and yes, I do have to remove it to unload the horses. BUT- I keep several things in it that never comes out, like spare hairnets, bucket, sponge etc and when I get to a show I unload it and chain to my trailer so it is easily accessible. I used to find that by the time I got everything I needed in the car there was not much room for people, where as plenty of empty space in the trailer. I will definately be keeping mine!

I had an IW 510 and the tack pack was great, plenty room to move it around, I dont use it in the 505 I have now, its a pain in the rear end, not enough room. I do however use it in the tack room, keeps the mice out. ;D

I like my tack pack but I find I can't fit my saddle in unless I squish it, small saddles are prob fine but mines a 18" dressage and it just doesn't work, I use it for my bridles and bits and bobs, and the bucket at the top I have horses first aid stuff so I never forget to bring it! Also If you have a sensible horse you can unload them without removing it, I never take mine out, but my boy comes off very calm so it has never been a problem.
