I know two ponies that ate leylandii it caused them to tremble and drool slightly. The vet was called before they had an opportunity to eat too much of it and after a night of looking poorly they recovered fine.

I know they can be poisonous, but dont know how I know or who told me but I have always electrified my ponies off from them, as well as the blessed acorns. I just pressumed it because if eaten they were toxic.

the only thing ive found on leylandii is that its a skin irritant. but i assume this also means it would irritate the digestive system if eaten
