Here are a couple of photos of Toby, the feral cat. One is the early days and the other is recent and shows Toby sitting on his chair in his stable waiting for a cuddle at tea time. We hand reared his brother and then Toby arrived in the yard a few months later. He was a typical wild kitten and was always well hidden. However, with a lot of time and effort he has become the most adorable cat, insists on having a proper cuddle every time I am in the yard, even before he wants his food. He follows me around the yard and the fields. If it wasn't for one of the other cats we have, who chases him on sight, I think he would be in the house by now. Funnily enough, his brother is the most uncuddly cat there is, quite savage in fact if you go to pick him up. Whereas Toby, who was never touched until he was almost 12 months old, is just adorable.
