Peac-o-c-k stirrups are the ones with the elastic bands on the sides that ping off in an emergency ;-)

I have these and love them Think they are just called Flexi Stirrups! I have those too and love em , help with my achy joints ;D used to have peacock ones but no more OH had a bad fall when the horse he was on fell over with these on out hunting and they bent and his foot got stuck luckily the stirrup leathers snapped , and she didnt budge till he was off and safe good girlie she is  it kinda put me off them . |
