I know there is a reason why moderators remove photos from threads but find it really frustrating when you go on to a thread where say they ask "am I too big" to find that there isn't a photo but there obviously has been.
Would it not be better to remove the whole thread than leave a thread that doesn't make sense.

Usually because they have a flaming big copyright sign on them & those of us who spend hours at shows taking photographs get really cheesed off seeing photos being copied from our sites

On the "am I too big" thread I think it was the person who posted the pic who removed it - she moved the whole of her initial post.

People usually remove their original thread when they get a reply they dont like, I mean come on, a thread thats title is "am I to big" is just asking for trouble, surley they have a friend they can ask something like this.

I think what you have to remember is that sometimes it's just a child posting!

Yes this was a little girl, I am feeling uncomfortable about what I say now because there have been quite a few threads/post from juniors lately.

Sorry, I hadn't thought about the age of the poster or realised that in that case it was a child posting - as couldn't find pics hadn't really read thread.
I understand about copyright issues but when I posted hadn't thought about there being any as didn't think anyone would post a copyrighted photo.
Thank you to everyone who has resonded.

Send me a link to the person riding without a hat, and I'll remove it - it's a site policy, so if we miss something you need to let us know.

No problem, someone messaged me a link and I've sorted it. It's just that sometimes we miss things, we've never got a problem with people letting us know if they spot something against the rules in any way.
