What do i/horse need to be registered with etc?

Well a large riding horse you would go under the Britsih show horse society, not sure with the arabs. Check out the BSHS website for firther details, they are really good, i have joined this year and it alows you to do county shows.

To compete in part-bred classes youneed to be a member of the Arab Horse SOciety, horse must have minimum of 12.5% arab.

You dont need to be registered you can buy a card if you want to qualify for the cheriff champs last year they were £10 for in hand and £20 for ridden. You can enter with out one but will not qualify. BSPS also do PBA classes which you would need to join to do but you dont have to be a full member which is cheaper. Hope this helps
