Well done! See, your pony is far happier clipped and i'm sure she will reward you later on! I very much doubt you will be penalised, and i'm sure the summer coat will grow nicely.

it seems everyone has very different opinions on clipping. i go round yards clipping in winter but stop in the last week of january as i believe this is when the coats start to change.
this winter ive had several m & ms where the owners have said they want to show march but dont want any sign of a clip so theyve gone the whole hog including legs just asked me to leave the feathers on.
