I am hoping some sane person can help me because I think I must be reading this wrong! or just being thick! We qualified last week in 2 classes for the NPS Spring Festival finals, and it says I need to send in the qualification card within 14 days (fine so far!) and also £20 entry fee for each class. BUT we don't know yet who is judging and as the show is in April it seems a long way off to send off entries, we may have sold the pony by then or decide not to go. Is this really right that you have to enter now or lose your qualification? Help please!

Gosh! That's ridiculous! I think I will try phoning the office tomorrow as I am not prepared to send off £40 in entries for a show in April that we have no idea who is judging! No other society asks you to pay that far ahead - I always thought the NPS were the more reasonable society!

Just as well you mentioned that I've never noticed. That is very odd, well at least it's decided me for the 4 Dec show which classes to do - it's always a toss up which to go for, I think i may skip the NPS spring qualifiers.

I'm sure that has always been on the qual cards and I have never sent them in til I do my entries( Which is usually the day before they closed) I've just had a look at a Card that we got in September for the summer champs and that says the same so I wouldn't worry.

After looking at the card, i am reading it in a way that suggests the card must be returned within 14 days, not the entry?

To be honest NPS really arnt bothered in my experience! Just send it when you are ready to enter, thats what we always do and have never had a problem. This year qualified for summer champs in April and didnt enter until the week before ( ie: very late) no questions were asked.
