Hi just testing the water to see if anyone is interested in buying my wagon as a project before spring when I intend to fix it and mot it again and then advertise it for much more.
F reg
Can be driven on a normal car license by anyone over the age of 17 no special test required, tax is £122.50 per 6 months, normal car mot no plating required and insurance costs me less than £200 per year.
Coach built LDV 3.5t petrol engine with extremeley reliable freight rover engine that starts every time even last winter!
90,000 approx mileage
Although its petrol dont let that put you off its not unreasonable on fuel and at least you dont get the horrid smell of diesel.
The cab is cut through and there is a small day living area with cupboard, gas bottle and hooks and a bed above the luton there is a sliding door for access into the horses.
There are no leaks in the wagon at all its bone dry .
The back is partitioned for 3 all partitions are sliding and removable and the floor as rubber matting have carried 15.2 horses in it but obviously care as to be taken with regards to the weight being carried.
Had a repaint earlier this year wasnt a proffesional job but looks fine .
Ramp is easily lifted alone
I have used this wagon all summer untill the day its mot ran out earlier this month, but as its needs some jobs doing on it Iv taken it off the road untill spring and its only for sale as I dont do enough showing to warrant the financial upkeep of it but will be sad to see it go as its a very good well built wagon.
The jobs that need doing are as follows :
Passenger window as droped inside i just leave it shut this id say is a cosmetic fault nothing else so could be left iv managed all summer with it.
The cord that pops the bonnet open as snapped again iv managed with this all summer i just open it manually from the front.
The gear box is a 5 gear one in june the 5th gear stopped working but the other 4 work fine in fact i drove to cornwall and back on 4 gears no problem so Iv been told it could be a selector problem or something else quite simple otherwise the rest of the gears wouldnt work by now ...this doesnt effect the vehicle getting an mot
The speedo works one minute then doesnt the next not sure whats going on there dont think the bumpy farm road helps this.
One of the hinges on the back ramp as broken off this needs welding back the other 3 are all in tact and the ramp is safe ,,,again this is not relevant to the mot
Rear brake cylinder needs replacing on the drivers side the passenger side as been done part costs about £30,,,, this job is necessary for mot.
Iv tried to list all the faults that I know of and to be honest about it as I say this is a good little wagon and wouldnt take much to rectify it especially for someone that knows what they are doing.
Im in the NORTH WEST nr Manchester if your interested pm me or email me on juevans64@hotmail.co.uk
Please bear in mind the age of this wagon when you read the above faults it is in no way falling to bits but it is approx 21 years old!!!!
No time wasters please and remember there is NO MOT or TAX on it.
