God they were not good today most didn't turn up and the ones that did barely sold for anything I picked up a Irish draught 16hh to bring on for 120 guineas that's how crazy the sales were also alot didn't meet reserves some were looking for couple grand think sales was wrong place to be expecting to get that today

109, did you go? there was some amazing horses at ridiculous prices, was my brother convinced me to buy the horse i did i wasnt particularly looking as decided to take a step back as people were right and my OH was right taking too much on, but my brother competes too and wanted this one to show himself as well so i didnt mind too much taking it on knowing he helping me with the horses takes some pressure off

i have spoken to the auctioneers assistant this morning. she said they were dire but they are expecting it to get much worse after christmas

dont know how can bring yourself to go to the sales i been once and will never go again after seeing the state of some the horses made me cry, my mum ended up bringing two home just cos they were so neglected, they ended up beautiful with some tlc she still got one for her own riding horse now the other went to a friend so was happy ending for them but they not all so fortunate some people so cruel how could they bare to even show there faces there with an animal in such dire circumstances makes me sick
