Me,my dad and brother want to get my mum a jack Russell after my mum lost her's during a car accident. We would need it pretty soon in time for Christmas. I live on Dartmoor in Devon. I would like to see the mum and possibly the dad. Will pay up to £200 x

I've got no idea about SJ007 What happed: My mum was driving back with me form a really nice long walk our dog Badger was in his car safety in the boot. We quickly went to Tesco to get some milk and a car had revresed into the back of our car and hit Badger

Gosh your last one got shot in the woods didn't it? You really are extremely unlucky with Jack Russells. Maybe you should try another breed. I feel very sad for you.

Is the other driver's insurance company paying for your last dog? I presume he needed veterinary treatment and then pts. You should be able to have a full funeral and remorial paid for. Did you call the Police? I would have done if my dog was injured and had the bugger proscecuted for driving without due care and attention.

I always thought JR s were such tufty little dogs? I didnt realise they were so vulnerable Anyway SJ007 and iluvhorses cant possibly be the same person, cos SJ007 dad had just died and no one would be sick enough to lie about such a thing !!!!! Iluvhorses and her dad/mum are stilll wanting a JR. cant be the same xx

I have three Jack Russell's and they're a great breed! The only problems we've ever had with ours were shoulder related. The first was when our oldest somehow pulled/damaged his shoulder and was very lame on it... it healed quickly though and he's back to his old self again. The second time was my puppy being held before a walk & getting excited and jumping out of my arms. He hit the wall on the way down and damaged the tendons in his shoulder. It again healed very quickly. At least one of these occasions were accidents if not both, and apart from that ours have always been very healthy/hardy, so am in agreement with chorro! I'm really sorry about your doggie, hope you have fun with your next one xxx

A few years ago a lorry ran into the back of my car in the fog. It smashed the car so badly it was a write off but my dog who was in the back was ok thank goodness, she just ended up on the back seat instead of the boot, a bit shaken(as was I) but luckily still in one piece. It must have been one hell of a smash in Tesco's car park, poor Badger

The other thing is though, dogs are so expensive that I don't think you can buy a jack russell for £200. Wait until your insurance make you an offer of compensation. If you get one cheap that will be deemed to be your replacement.
Like LP says, this can't possibly be the same person because poor SJ007 lost her father, such tradegy.

sj007 and iluvhorses cant possibly be the same person - nobody in their right mind would make up a story about their father dying would they

I seem to remember saying to you, people will be forgiving of mistakes on here but they won't stand for being lied to. Just be honest and you will be accepted, but people won't be taken for fools.

Well glad you are coping if it was 3/4 months ago. Some people cannot cope so early and know exactly how many days, hours and minutes.
That insurance company is very quick. What insurance company is that? might change mine because they took far longer to pay out when i had my car accident.

If it is possiblw for mods to find out whether she is the same person, can they do it and let us know? Because if they aren't the same person, i luvhorses doesn't deserve this and if they are she deserves to be named and shamed.

In my opinion anything posted by these usernames is complete b******s and I read them purely to see what utter crap they will write next. The mods can't stop people from the same ip address having more than 1 username but they can stop them posting on the same thread using the two or more! Usernames. I am sure I will be corrected if I am wrong.

The mods cannot actually disclose to other HG members if someone who uses 2 user names is the same person or not. The mods know as people who have an alias or 2 or 3 identities have the same IP address. The fact that Mods tell these people off for doing this is proof enough.
