I'll try and make this shortish as its a long story but it has made me so mad.
My OH runs his own business from home and employs a number of people, two of which are his 'best friends' who he grew up with. Now my OH is quite naive, very trusting and takes everyone at face value which lead to people taking advantage of his good nature. One if friends borrowed my OH's little runaround car the friday before Christmas and span it, damaging the front of the car quite badly. It's a Smart car so the panels are in one big piece which will be expensive to fix. His 'friend' has never offered to fix it/get an estimate/claim off his insurance, not even mentioned it and not actually said sorry either. Now my OH is laid back but he is upset about it although he won't tackle his friend as he doesn't feel its worth falling out over but I thinks it's the principle. Two weeks on and still no mention of getting it fixed, in fact his 'friend' has never phoned or anything over the holidays. His wife also works for my OH (she who is perfect - always dressed to death and makes me feel inadequte but thats another story!!!) and usually she is sensible but she has never mentioned it either.
Now if it were me or any of my friends that had done this I would have been mortified and would have seen to getting it mended. They are supposedly quite religious as is my OH but I can't quite see the religion in this!!!!!!!
Now they aren't my friends really, I tolerate them for the sake of my OH as I think they are pompous. Would you if you were me say something to them? I don't want to see my OH walked over and left out of pocket again, they get a lot out of him (OH even paid for eye laser treatment for 'she who is perfect') and very little in return. It's really annoying me but then it seems I am the one with morals
Any advice?
