Most canine societies/clubs run ringcraft classes in the evenings. If you are new to showing go along to a local open show and get chatting to people. This will also give you an idea of class sizes for your breed. Google canine clubs in your area and im sure you will find some classes.Lots of clubs also hold matches which are nice for puppies

One to One is ok but classes are better as the pup will get used to a show atmosphere with lots of other dogs around. Its also good to watch some of the experienced handlers as you can learn alot from them. Most showing people, even the really experienced ones, take thier pups to ringcraft classes to get used to the hustle and bustle.Good luck

yeah i def intend to take her when im not in work , having other ppl pass on tips n pointers is invaluable theres always stuff to learn but having someone come to me when i cant seems good to me lol, the one i enquired about has about 30 to 50 ppl attend she says...bloody hell thats a busyone i guess, lots of hustle n bustle

I agree with BR.. the whole point of ring craft is to socialise the puppy and get them used to standing in line next to other dogs and be shown in a dog filled environment.. one ot one is great for genenral obedience but no good for ring craft..
you can always go to a normal dog training club to get the pup socialised..practice your handling and standing when your there..

The puppy classes I went to, the lady who ran them was brilliant, she asked beforehand if the dogs were going to be shown and tweaked their training accordingly, i.e. the show dogs would always stand rather than sit, etc.
