Practice at home if you can, or go to WH clinics or lessons. Have a fab time with your new pony.

If at all possible, walk the course with someone really experienced, they will help you suss out the correct line, especially into combinations, where to make turns to give your pony every chance to do well. Aim at the middle of each fence - seems obvious advice but often poorly done.....
Get someone to video you, then watch it back afterwards - see yourself how the judge will have seen you.

a bit of a weird tip but don't wear a tie pin that's sharp at the end- coz when you're in jumping position it stabs you- lol
also go to as many different shows as possble so you can jumps loadsa different jumps- chances are when you do a really big qualifier like hoys or rihs- you've jumped half of the jumps before

work hard on remembering your course etc but don't look to closely at the fences for example you might decide that your pony could be scared of hay bales perhaps and get this in your head ...tis negative thinking ...i try to think of it just as a fence whether its got water trays and ditches or its a cross pole, this helps me to be less nervous

You could try doing a WHP day or if you can't find one organise one with some friends. Get a WH course set up in a school and continue as though it's a normal class. It'll give you a chance to get used to your pony and your pony can get used to you. Hope this helps. Let us know how you get on at BSPS.

Make sure you use all the ring, dont cut corners to fences, ride at right angles to every fence and ride nice big loops to each fence to avoid any interruption to the flow of your round. Nice and smooth all the way round at a constant pace, no speeding up/slowing down is best, just a steady round.
