I bought a bag yesterday and to me it seems to be very dry and does not smell the same. I didn't take too much notice of the bag as husband pinched it to put yesterday's debris in but ponies did sniff it before they ate it. My lot are all very greedy so would probably eat anything but on balanc I sure you are right, it has changed. I once wrote to Spillars about something else and it took three months to get a reply.

I could not agree more - I use it on all the natives and the new b**** bag does not as you say fit in the feed bin!! - I too had it all over the floor
And also agree does not look the same for me it is more golden in colour and looks more chopped.

And you need scissors to open it now Have to say, the last bag I bought had reverted back to it's original bag

on closer inspection, it does smell differently and look more golden in colour as "agree agree" says. i noticed our ponies smelling it before they took a bite but now they both wolf it down! having said that, like featherston says, i think ours would eat anything and ask questions later!

My bag seemed to have much more molasses than usual. It was sticky and I found a couple of big lumps of molasses. I've bought some Good Doer to mix with it to make it a better texture.
