Hello! i've copied this thread from the For Sale Section, to try and get more attention draw to it on behalf of Springalong12.2hh / 12.3hh exmoor gelding stolen from private yard in hook (wiltshire) on the 17th of january 2007 any information would be a appreciated  |

This is awful, I do hope you find him I am thinking of having mine freezmarked, they are already chipped, do you think its a good deterent or not as I dont want to waste money  |

i hope Springalong gets her horse back too! well i think freezemarking is interesting. It is the only Visual way to mark the horses. Chipping is good but a thief cant see a chip. It is likely that if a horse is stolen it will be stolen by someone who knows about horses and their security, if they know about freezmarking, i very much doubt they would risk stealing it coz they would know it can be identified very easily! more info can be found on the link!: www.farmkey.co.uk/farmkey/index.php?option=com_content&task=category§ionid=3&id=67&Itemid=44 |

Since he is an Exmoor, won't he have a unique brand anyway or have they stopped doing that? (I guess it perhaps depends on who bred him)

Aww thats horrible.. I hope he's found soon  York Horse sales is on Friday, may be worth contacting them I will look on catalouge when it comes up... but they don't usually put it up until night before!
