I'm trying to work out how much part bred arab a riding pony has, I calculate Bwlch Valentino to be 25% and Bwlch Zephyr to be 15.62% - can any confirm or correct me please.

Hi paddocklow,your partbred pony is 18.31% arab blood so can be registered AHS I think the minimum is 12.50 % hope this helps www.xiviersarabianpalominos.com

Hi Helle if you ring the arab horse society they can generally go back down the pedigree and find that 0.08 % to register your part bred.

Thanks Holiday - your right Hazel was great provided me with a copy pedigree, so I could go far enough back to find enough arab blood. Her dam is NPS registered so the AHS said my little girl was only 11.9% .... you know me, she was going to be a part bred ... and I found enough, she is now !! I found the grand total of 12.66%, & the AHS have approved this & registered her.
