DURING THE NIGHT OF 18/19TH APRIL, FROM DAISEY MEADOW LIVERY YARD, KIRKHAM, LANCASHIRE
APPROX 60 SADDLES, THE SADDLE WERE MAINLY SHOW AND DRESSAGE SADDLES, THESE SADDLES APPEAR TO HAVE BEEN STOLEN TO ORDER AS THEY HAD THE LEATHERS AND GIRTHS REMOVED BEFORE BEING TAKEN, NO OTHER TACK WAS STOLEN.
IF YOU ARE OFFERED A SADDLE FOR SALE FROM AN UNKNOWN SOURCE PLEASE CONTACT LANCASHIRE POLICE.

Hope you get them back. This happened to us some years ago, the week before appleby fair.

Have to say we never got any of ours back, even though they were all marked.

gosh thats awful ..we ahve had a spate of it roung here too ..mainly rugs etc tho , hope you find them ... i had my tack nicked years ago , it was awful ...i still look in second hand shops for my old saddle  |

thats dreadful, i wouldnt know what i would do without my saddles i treasure them!
keep your eyes peeled at local sales and shops and ebay etc you never know where they might be!

Look on ebay as royal said - Clitheroe Auction has monthly ponies and tack sales, why not take a look down - i think their webby is auctionmart.com - but if not just type in clitheroe auction. Hope this helps, and good luck

apparantly there had been a white van hanging around for a few days.
we also had the police come into the cantene at myerscough tea time yesterday asking if we had seen anything suspicious as a few wagons had had stuff stolen from in the afternoon
