My special place is in my stable with my boy, especially in the winter evening's when everyone has gone home and it's just me and him... listening to the quiet and contented sound of the munching all around.... x

Mine is a place called Calver Edge in Derbyshire, you walk up to the top of a huge hill and you can see for miles, when I was little I always used to go there with family to fly my kite. It was the first walk I went with my husband and I took my kids their to fly there kites when they were little.
I always feel that I could just take of like a bird and soar over the fields,,,, its a place I go to think and clear my head.

Lol, mines the beach bridleway, i love having a huge gallop when the tide is out and it is all sand, but not when you are getting chased by a farmer in a landrover and another farmer in a tractor at the same time when you didnt realise you where on his land!

I'm far away from where I was born, but I spend many hours back there in the garden of my childhood. Smelling the sweet smell of newly growing grass and seeing footprints left in the dew. Hearing the blackbird trilling from the apple trees. Seeing the big pastel ginger cat sitting on top of a beehive in the orchard. Hanging over the old lichened sagging gate watching a hunters moon rise over the elm trees. Last, but not least, my special place is populated with animals loved and lost and so dearly remembered. Happy days.

I really don't have a special place but thinking back to my childhood, it must be my Gran & grandads garden. It had everything.. massive veg patch, where we would spend hours, helping grandad.. and picking the veg for our dinner or tea.. what a lovely time we had. Sadly no more.. G&G are sadly gone and the hous sold... and the veg patch will sadly be long gone Now.. I think.. it has to be my lounge I can sit here.. chat to you lot, have the most fantastic view over the valley and my three best friends at my side .. Yes i have three horses in my lounge and just to add, at the moment the sun is streaming though the window! bliss

I think long and hard am in FM stable or on his back its safe there the rest of world can not get in that bubble

Just sitting in my girls stable or in the field watching her grazing or sitting with her if shes laying down. She always makes me feel better when I'm upset and is always well behaved too, love taking her for a ride without a care in the world, just me and her.
