Just interested to see which type of action is most popular. Sorry if I missed any out. I chose Welsh A, Show pony and pure bred arab. All quite different but my personal favourites  |

Definately the Welsh Cob for me. Their action is just fantastic to watch.
But I do like the Fells too.

For me it is welsh.a, welsh.d and pure bred arab  I also agree with brinmarkbabe that a flashy welsh b are hard to miss, and they are rare to find! xx |

Best action has to be the a's and d's, but that doesn't mean they move the 'nicest'. I think the show pony has the nicest movement

I like to see any animal that moves true to type....and hate to see ponies/horses expected to move like a show pony!!

Having a purebred arab, a Welsh A and A Welsh B myself, I have to pretty much agree with OP's choices! (I am assuming a show pony would be a large part PBA!) My Sec A has a lovely action when she gets going - the Sec B not so much, but then she is not at all fit. I think it will develop in time. My arab is SO floaty, I just love watching her move, even in walk!
I don't really like the higher knee action of Welsh cobs (and PREs etc) - I like a very straight, correct and floaty action personally.
