I recently read a book about a lady who fostered dogs from a sanctuary in wales, until they found permanent homes. It was a really lovely story and the name of the sanctaury is Many Tears,, if any one is looking for a dog please consider one of these, many are pedigree ex breeding dogs and there are ones in foster homes up and down the country, they do such a fantastic job! lets hope that anyone who rehomes a dog stands by it and doesn't change their mind a year or two down the line. A dog is for life not just for christmas  |

2 of my friends work at many tears in Wales. They do a brilliant job of rehoming the dogs

I am a home checker for Many Tears, and have fostered 9 dogs for them at home here in Bath. They are a great organisation who have saved many lives. If you are looking for a dog please do consider them!

I wish my experience with rescue organizations were good. I have had dogs all my life (all died of old age) I have never owned more than 3. I was in a situation having recently had to have my 17yr lurcher pts, I was looking for a rescue Dobermann. I contacted lots of rescues (breed) and none breed and was either ignored or spoke to like i was a numpty!. I have refs coming out of my ears and would pass a home check with flying colours, but because they never got back to me or just treated me bad i have now bought one. I am sure there are some rescues that are good  , unfortunatly none in the North east that i contacted  . Good luck to many tears rescue, keep up the good work, nice to know there are some rescues out there that do the job and keep the dogs going into good homes. |
