This year, i am thinking of trying out for HOYS. I'm 13, But very confident on my welsh B, Monty. I've been riding since i was 3, but only showing for the past three years. I know the classes will be huge, and just wondering, what shows you think i should do, and what i need to do to make us really stand out? What must i do? what should i not do? and any clubs i need to be a member of? Loads of questions, but all help appreciated

Get your self a good producer/instructor. Even if you have just lessons off a producer its well worth it. I love my lessons - she doesn't just help me to get the best out of him ridden wise but also turnout. And clinics aswell to see what different judges look for. But go for a producer/instructor who specialises in the m&m's if thts what your heading for. Good luck
