Hi I'm looking to study veterinary science at uni and need to get a lot of work experience under my belt before I apply.
I'm looking for work experience with large animals, preferably cows, sheep, horses or any other forms of livestock. Based in north west but willing to travel. Contact me via private message or elizabethpeacock@live.co.uk Thanks

If you get in touch with your local vets they will probably know farmers who are willing to take work exp students. Easter hols are a good time for sheep experience as people are busy lambing.

If you go onto Daleshead Vet Surgery (Settle) website they actually have a section for work exp students! They have a small equine practice up the road from the surgery at Rathmell Therapy Centre.

Hi, we have a small stud of five horses and 5 gundogs. You are welcome to come and help at the weekends. Opportunities for riding and possible shadowing our vet or farrier for a day or t two. Maybe even some experience of shows.
