Hi There, I am a newbie to HG! I was recommended this site by a friend but I'm finding it a bit confusing to use! I have registered an account, & have a few posts, but a bit unsure of how to do things correctly. I have searched the site to see if I can get some clear, conside instructions of how to use it properly but couldn't find such a thing. I am sure that I'm not the only one who's had trouble getting used to this site. I think it's a great site, & since discovering it the other day, have spent quite a few hours on here, but to make it easier for newbies, could a post be made with instructions of use. Is it the actual use of the board, ie. how to post, how to start threads etc., or more like guidelines of what to post where, rules etc. that you're not sure of?
Edited to add, there is a help button at the top of your screen, if you click on that and then 'member guide' it takes you through the basics of how the board works.

Welcome brierley. I think the best advise is to get stuck in, write some more posts, let's hear your views and opinions and learn as you go and don't worry about making mistakes.
