Thank you for the PM's but i tried NPS but they informed me that he is still registered in the name of the people who we sold him to; I believe that the onus should be put on the seller to notify the registered society of the sale and transfer of ownership...like we have to do with cars but i guess not all people do that either!! this is why so many ponies go missing, have their names changed and breeders loose touch..i'm still searching though and won't give up until i find out where he is or what has happened to him..thanks everyone

That is very nice for you; but all the breeder knows is that he is in Wales somewhere, Wales is a big place. Just pondering then why it should be a problem not to let the breeder know who has him just to have chat to them don't you think?? as breeder also loves him to bits and would dearly love to see him and speak to the people who have him Thanks for your response...breeder will still keep trying though...

Anyone in any of the Welsh Pony Club branches that can help breeder locate this pony doing local Pony Club and Dressage somewhere in Wales please?? Please any updates on this pony? Breeder still making enquires and would like to speak with his new owners or loan home if he is loaned? He is still registered with NPS under previous owners name so if he has been sold i question why he has not yet been transferred to new ownership? This is an amazing pony who contested HOYS 133 SHP qualifiers and was more than capable of doing FEI dressage. Puzzled as to why if previous owners are still in regular contact with Grenville that they have not either passed breeders details on and asked new owners to contact breeder or passed on new owners details to breeder as previous owners are aware breeder has been trying for quite a while to locate Mistrals Gold aka Grenville??? What is wrong?? I understand tt is a legal requirement to register in new owners name so no data protection issues, if that is the reason no contact has been made yet!! Breeder is happy to know that the pony is well and happy doing local pony club and dressage but it would be so nice to see him, it is not asking too much is it??
Thanks again to everyone who has helped so far and hope that someone is out there who is able to help a bit more :-) x

Is there something strange going on here?? Some very cagey replies from rivervalley. Maybe if RV is still in contact they can pass breeder details on and ask new owners to contact. Not difficult really. Being a breeder who 'lost' a pony for around 10 years I know how frustrating it is.

Maybe the new owners don't want people knowing where he is for some unknown reason, I completely agree with you though. There must be a reason for the lack if information
