That groom's going to have back ache after that effort, poor mare looks shattered. I don't know how you lot that breed do it, I'd be a wreck.

phew im knackered now just watching, dont know what i will be like when my mare foals shes due in may, hope shes not as big this devil, hes well cute, well done mum x

I wish she had of waited for the contractions to pull, that mare must be sore!! And pulled down instead of backward would have helped! it's very slow getting going too

I watched it all was watching this afternoon and turned it of just thought i would check and she was just going down. The mare struggled and the woman had to pull the foal out at one point the mare got up with some hanging out and was whizzing round the stable. A huge colt foal lovely very nice mare too even when she looked in so much pain she still had her ears forwards bless her x

I hope his legs are OK after all that yanking - I don't know anything about breeding but they look very lethargic.

Very similar foaling to my last one. Gracie was large and had to be pulled out too. She was so exhausted she lay down for ages and it took 2 of us to get her to stand. Memories eh!
I agree - breeding is stressful.

I agree- he needs to feed,poo and the mum hasnt cleansed yet.
