Just wondering if people are using any warmblood stallions this year and if so, who you have decided to go with?

We have foals due this year by Don Ricoss, Sir Shutterfly and did have a Surprice but she reabsorbed. Been trying to narrow the search down for a 2012 foal but not doing very well so far! Off to Germany to see some potential husbands and see what we think.

Holiday, the mare is due 17th March so am keeping everything crossed for a healthy mare and foal. I would love it to follow in its half sisters footsteps but to be honest any sex or colour is ok as long as they are both ok! The mare is the dam of my coloured show horse, Heathersedge Eurovision

I have heard lots of good things about Don Ricoss....I have decided to use Santo Hit, a black Oldenburg, young stallion with lots of promise on my Oldenburg broodmare by Balou de Rouet.....any views?? x For the sceptics out there, I am breeding my one mare for my own use as my future dressage horse

I dont know much about Santo Hit, apart from his good bloodlines, I loved the temperament and movement of DR which is why I used him to be honest, we went to Germany and met him and he was an absolute poppet with a fantastic temperament we were so warmly welcomed by the stud it was a pleasure to visit.

SH is local to me, and i met him before he went to Germany on many occasions. He has the bloodlines, but a visit would be a suggestion, as would doing plenty of homework
