I am a bit confused now there have been all the changes with HOYS etc. To enter a Hoys qualifying show am I right in thinking you only have to be a member of a breed society OR NPS OR Ponies UK? Also am not sure on the measurment ruling - do you need a height cert. to enter the class or only once you have qualified? Thanks

Perhaps I am having a bad day, but could you tell me where on the HOYS website, Orion, does it give the qualifying rules - not just for M&M's

I was hoping someone could interpret them for me!! I understand it that you only have to be a member of your breed society now and you don't have to be a nps or any other soc. member (which is good as it's too expensive to join some of them as we are an owner and have a rider and pony to register too) Got my schedule for Gt. Yorks yest and says in there about jmb but I cant' make head nor tale on it!! When you were a member of BSPS as a heritage member you only had to be measured once you had qualified (chance would be a fine thing!!) Does that shed any light on my plight?

Just had a look at mine for you Owston - it is a bit confusing isn't it - would say you dont need a height cert for qualifying but you do for HOYS, as for member of which society - haven't got a clue LOL!

If this measuring rule is correct across the board - plaited and M&M's, how many are going to qualify but not be able to compete - and if that happens, will the qualification pass down
