I have a pair of dubarrys which I took great care of, never riding in, or mucking out and about six months after I bought them they were leaking just walking through wet grass!! Very expensive when they are not fit for purpose.

My Dubarrys only lasted two years before leaking, I called Dubarry and explained this and they told me there was nothing they could do and basically my boots had "had it"!
I definitely will not be buying another pair.

Im on my 2nd pair of Dublin boots....my first pair lasted ages and ages but unfortunately the internal sock comes out when you try to get your feet out of them now (the are old) which is a pain..... My sister bought me a new pair for Christmas/Birthday last year and I have only had them on a few times as getting my feet in these ones is proving rather difficult....the lining is pulling down as I put my feet in / I am finding the lining is doing this too but hoped it would wear in and stop doing it. When you wiggle your foot and get the lining comfy they are great!

My Galways are now 17 months old. They have been in, out and on the muckheap literally their whole life. They are sadly now a bit leaky and very slightly cracked over the top of the foot.... even the leaking is intermittant according to if I have stuck some Renapur on them. I think I have had my moneys worth from them seeing as they work so hard! As for warmth, on the colder mornings they are not quite as warm as I would like but on the whole, I have found them a brilliant pair of boots

Loved my FIRST pair of boots, had first pair for three years no probs, second pair FELL APART after six months, customer service was diabolical, they were rude and just glued the soles and shipped them back (at my cost) They fell apart again, sadly more unhelpful people on the end of the phone, begrudgingly said they would "look" at my boots, eventually!!! glued and sent back!! The said boots are leaking AGAIN on the same point and im now donning sandwich bags over my socks to ensure dry feet...........HARDLY WHAT YOU EXPECT AFTER PAYING A FORTUNE FOR THEM? ?? Goodluck if you get any for christmas???!

I have had my Dubarry boots for about 5 years, I do look after them and do not use them to ride/muck out in, but do use them for shows, dog walking etc, they have just developed a small leak, bought the replacement heels this year all well with fitting etc. For riding and yard work I have Mountain Horse boots, they are fab, very warm and snug, good fit for me, also have Mountain Horse Jacket, fleece, gloves, all very hard wearing, had my yard boots and the loafers for years, a brand that really works for me. Do not like Ariat, over priced and French!!

I just bought the Dublin river boots and I love them, the fit is excellent and I'm sorry but at half the price of dubarrys i don't care if they are imitation! They are still leather and really comfy. Totally agree, have had my dublin boots for 3 years now. wear them for riding, mucking out, at shows etc etc. They are soooo comfy and very very warm!!!!

Don't think I could live without my dubarry's lol I wear them everyday, I muck out in them, ride in them, they've seen knee deep mud at BSPS and snow at home, and get hosed most days to get the mud off and they are still as waterproof and warm as the day I got them 18 months ago highly recommended

I have had two pairs of Dubarrys, 2nd pair a replacement pair after complaining about 1st pair leaking while walking across grass field when only six months old. 2nd pair also leak, they are really comfy but not at all waterproof so not really suitable for any country persuits.
