my friend has an unreg welsh D and she said there used to be a few unreg classes at local shows some with quilifiers which she did but over the past few years there has been less and less we were wondering if anywere still do the unreg classes as she goes in to cob classes but with her horse looking like a welsh she gets told to go into the welsh classes but she carnt and she feels like she running round in circles she love showing and so does her horse can any one help Thanks

I'm not sure where you stay, but around us most of the riding club shows allow unregistered ponies in their M&M classes. Festival of Champions and similar competitions used to have unregistered clases too.

Yes, our RC holds unreg M&M classes too. Otherwise what about trimming her boy as a cob, hogging his mane and doing cob classes instead?

hi not sure she would look right as a hogged cob as she has a very dainty welsh head and dont think she has enofough bone and dont think my friend will let go of her hair lol a will try and get a pic to show u all. we are based in the north west if any one can help non of our local show have unreg stuff that i can find any way

Where in the north west are you? It's a big region!
UK showing have an unregistered M&M class at their shows, and also (I think!) don't state that ponies must be registered for the M&M classes. Most clubs in our area (Warrington / St Helens) allow unregistered ponies in M&M classes. Also as Guestless said, Festival of Champions, Prestige (I think - but they did do some affiliated classes last year which would have restricted to registered ponies), Festival Equestrian Events, probably Supreme Showdown too. And maybe the new Aintree showing championship - don't know whether that will be affiliated or not at this stage...
