He is so talented and so wasted, am forced to decided that he needs somone to full fill his destiny, while trying to accept am not up to it, and proberly never was. So great finally have the money but no time If anyone special can offer La La (FM) what I canot offer him let me know its hard to except this

There must be another way, maybe a sharer or part loan to help you out and be there when you can't. We work to live, not live to work, and FM is what makes all the hard work worthwhile. Don't make any hasty decisions, these things have a knack of working themselves out.

Can you not put him on short term loan maybe over the summer so long as he can stay on your yard, then you can crack on with work and you will know where he is and what he is doing

Seahorse, like everyone else says, don't make any hasty decisions. I'm so glad you got the job etc. but what's the point of earning better money if you can't enjoy it with FM? Who says you weren't up to it? Prove yourself wrong and hang in there. Something will turn up - you have all summer to decide, so don't part with him yet. At least, not permanently, anyway.

Seahorse dont make any hasty decisions. Its summer Fart Monkey wont mind in the least if he doesnt do much work. Can he be turned out full time so that you dont have the mucking out to do etc. Like Milliesmum said we work to live not the other way round.
I work full time during the day and have a part time job 3-4 evenings a week to pay for the ponies so I know how hard it is. In winter mine dont get ridding at all just have a long holiday and use my bit of spare time to muck out etc. I have chucked mine out now full time and its so much easier.
Dont let everything overwhelm you. Take a deep breath and take a step back you will be able to manage I assure you

The thing is seahorse, you can only do so much and if you are doing too much, pretty soon your passion and fun time becomes a chore as well and that is soul destroying. Take a little time and think it through from every angle and every priority, then make your decision. The important thing here is NO REGRETS. Good luck.

I guess I recognise the dilemma you're up against as well seahorse, but am agreeing with others here. Take time to think, a longish time....... Good luck.
