Please can someone inform all the nPS members who read this site why any criticism of judges not abiding by the current NPS rules is being removed? We all feel very sorry for the pony who stood Reserve because we could see her rider had her card in her hand and yet she was ignored. The judge didn't even offer her the opportunity to show it to her.
The judge may be a high ranking official but it doesn't give them the right to change the rules as they go along. Any other NPS judge would be subject to a disciplinary hearing and probably banned for a couple of years as was the outome of the Scotland incident.
Let's all hope that the judge or someone in the NPS has the decency to contact both the Champion and the Reserve to apologise for this mess and listen to their stories.
The NPS now has the opportunity to play fair, stick to its Rule book and lead by example. If it fails to do this it will fail its membership.
Should this thread be removed we all know that someone with an association with a certain official is monitoring and halting our freedom of speech.

Should this thread be removed we all know that someone with an association with a certain official is monitoring and halting our freedom of speech. For your information, I have removed threads relating to the Windsor Olympia qualification issue, with the sole purpose of avoiding any further distress to the people concerned. I am not associated in any way with the NPS, its members or officials. You have freedom of speech in that you may contact the NPS at any time to put your concerns to them. It would be interesting to know how many of the anonymous people who have been so vociferous on this particular subject have actually had the courage of their convictions and written to the NPS. The thread in the lounge area is being monitored, but it is not locked, so members have not been prevented from discussing this subject, merely asked to bear in mind the feelings of those involved on all sides.
