Please can Hickstead keep their own NPS stewards who officiated last year. After the fiasco in the ridden championship at Windsor we definitely don't want the competitions people who steward at Olympia doing our final.
The Hickstead stewards are very experienced and do alot for the NPS. It would be appallingly bad form for the NPS hierachy to muscle in and remove them from stewarding the only NPS RIHS competition.
Above all these are reputable stewards who importantly do not judge, have vast experience and who officiate at many of the big shows. We know we can trust them.
We were all very pleased and relieved when last years judges refused to swop them for the NPS competitions people. Well done Mr Hinde and Mrs Bown. The competitors were behind you all the way.

Sounds like you are the same person who wrote the other threads that have now been locked.........Could you be the same person moaning outside the ring at Winsor?

No moaning about Windsor here. We were at Windsor on Sunday with our BSPS pony. Had a great day.
The stewards issue is something we have all been discussing for sometime. far better having hickstead's stewards who have no connections with judges or ponies and who don't add to the expenses or lunch bills of the societies concerned or the showground.
The Hickstead stewards are trained, well used NPS stewards and deserve their role at the Topspec final.
Why should anyone else want to alter that?
