Ok so lady on yard bought a mare...that could be in foal as its bellys rather large,teats are looking fullish,and we found out she was infact AI'd after her last foal but scanned empty.
wont be the mares first but the owners first
tips please inc how long after you have to wait to bring mare back into work etc...
Stables are only small so when the vet comes to examine if it is were going to put it in the field and see what happens

Have a look through the stickys above they should help you through and if any more questions feel free to ask.
Firstly establish yes or no then go from there. The mare really in my mind should be under close supervision for foaling or sent to a stud to foal, and I would go back to the people she bought it from first, they should also have dates so you could work out when she was due if she had been AI'd.
I would leave the mare until the foal is weaned before starting to work her again.

Ok thank you is it ok for her to be still ridden out for 15/20 mins in walk previous owner says she should possibly be due around may/june time if she is,vet is coming tuesday to check. here is a picture of her ever growing belly at the begining of the month when we first started to notice  |

Can you post a photo showing her belly and hindquarters?
Also, no I wouldn't be riding her now if she is due in next 4-8 weeks.

She does look in foal but photos can be misleading.
Personally I don't think a bit of quiet walking would hurt, but what's the point? Once confirmed, if it is, I'd want to be roughing her off and turning out until she foals.
