My Boxers fart terribly if I just feed dry food. They are on Waitrose tinned meat with pasta and vegetables with Wag dry food mixed in and the farting has mostly stopped. They do let rip very loudly and then look around in surprise but they dont smell anymore thank goodness. Charcoal and mint didnt work for them at all!!!

My labrador farts then walks out of the room so you think its someone else!!!!! Hes only on dried food but tends to do it when he has had scraps or treats. Getting thier anal glands emptied as Teri said does help as they smell so bad if they need emptying!

My Black Russian Terrier farts for England! very loud and human like! Bit of a party piece actually, we have friends round for drinks and without fail he lets one rip! We normally look disgustingly at our guests and let them argue out who did it!!

What a thread! It's good to laugh!
Just wonder what the fartie Terrierists are helping them selves to when you don't notice.
Short of a peg, corks, or rubber mallet, and check of annal glands, no suggestions to offer other than remove the pongers from the room.

PMSL at this thread!
My pup can be a bit ripe! I keep blaming OH and he is not amused and daughter won't sit near her when she's trumped.
I love the word trump. Its so childish and silly, as is fart!
fart, fart, fart, fart.
;D

Bentley started up with his wind issues last night again.. a quick waft of the duvet and a liberal spraying of Jean Paul Gautier soon solved the problem...

I was told that it is usually caused by too much carbohydrate - different dogs absorb (or not lol!) different amounts - go for a lower %, and all your problems should be over - I find Eukanuba, not only hideously expensive, but the worst in the world for smelly dogs lol!! Try just meat alone, or the 'pouch feeds' for a few days, and see if it solves the problem - just as an experiment, and then act accordingly!!
