The little slot for holding my zip on my Sarm Hippique boots snapped yesterday The west of Scotland is not known for its cobbler skills and I'm not sure I will find anyone who can fix it within a reasonable timescale. Anyone got any tips for keeping zips up? They have now and again slid out of the little keeper and I have realised halfway during my show that the zips are midway down my calves, so I could probably do with an alternative method anyway if possible. Please don't tell me I need new boots - they are really comfy, still in show condition (apart from silly keeper) and would cost a darn fortune to replace (given my ample calves/small feet problem).

Have recently had the same problem.....and had to end up buying a pair of leather gaiters and wee boots! My long boots were and still are in fab show condition but the zips just kept running down during the class showing my pink wooly socks (fave socks!) pulling them up the whole time broke my zip keeper and no-one around can or will repair (again) them - i have used a paperclip on them for awhile but have now given them up ;( Have to say the gaiters and wee boots are soooo comfy though and look as good if not better!
