I am buying the ones that are on Ebay at the minute called Masterclip Showmate that are £50. Ive watched the video and I think they look very good and have a good review.

I have had a pair of Liveryman Element trimmers for years now and they are brilliant! They have been dropped numerous times and just kept on going, although they are starting to sound a tad ropey now. We used them to clip our cobs feathers out, as he can be a bit of a softie and although you have to do it slowly, they manage very well –not many trimmers could get through feathers! Highly recommend.

if its just for trimming faces / ears / heals etc, cheap supermarket/ argos mens hair clippers £20.00 max - last a couple of years and do exactly the same job .

I have the Liveryman Elements which I use for trimming out ears, jawlines etc on my two large hairies. They do a fantastic job. I also use them to trim out the section C's legs (we show him as a hunter pony) and again, they stand up well to the job.
Not the cheapest, but worth every penny.

I've had a pair of Liveryman Element trimmers for years and they are still going strong. I wouldn't get any other ones than these. Tough, quiet and reliable. Worth every penny.
