Has "manners" now been excluded from judging crieteria? In two classes yesterday, our animals were placed below ponies that displayed very poor manners. In one case the animal just shot off in extension resulting in the jockey having to come to a practical stop to gain control and in another ponies were shying at parked horse boxes at the ringside. My ponies weren't perfect, but they both behaved themselves!

Manners are very important. At the Amateur showing society Champs last year my daughter took reserve and the judge told the champ if it didn't stand still it was going to loose it. You could see my daughter praying but it stood after that. Manners are as important as your show!
