Hi, took our 2 ponies to a local show last week and both did very well. We have not showed before but now both my daughters are excited about going to another show what is a bit more competitive. Would love to know which classes people think they would be right for each pony. Peggy Sue is a 14.2 liver chestnut section D and Honey is a 11.2 section A palomino, thankyou.

M&M small breed for your A, Large Breeds for your D both inhand and ridden. Also there is a junior M&M if they are under 17 (age may change at different shows) but this class is all M&Ms together. You could do your novice which usually the rules are a snaffle bridle, but again it varies at different shows. If any of your daughters are the correct age for M&M first ridden then that would also be suitable for the section A or maybe even lead rein if she is a novice. The Sec A could also do coloured, spotted and palomino. That's all i can think of but as long as the girl riding the sec A is confident going around with bigger horses then there is a variety of classes she can be entered in.
Hope this helps and most of all enjoy the showing world :-)
